Hannah Smith

Hannah performed in Dance Etc.’s 1996 showcase and hasn't stopped since. She began teaching at Dance Etc. in 2013 in the styles of jazz, tap, hip-hop, jazz funk, and contemporary.  She is the choreographer for Backdoor Theatre's Summer Youth Musicals (13 the Musical 2017, School of Rock the Musical 2018 and Disney’s Freaky Friday the Musical 2019). She has used her training to choreograph "First Dances" for weddings, church performances, and solo/duet competitive pieces for the Rider Raiderettes and Dance Etc.'s competitive team, Evolve. She has participated and competed in Dancing for the Stars in Wichita Falls as well as Dancing to the Stars in Bowie and won Judge’s Choice in Wichita Falls’s Dancing for the Stars 2018. She was a featured dancer in the Wichita Falls "The King: Eras of a Legend" Elvis Tribute Artist, Kraig Parker performance in 2012. When she isn't teaching, she spends her time performing at Backdoor Theatre (Columbia in Rocky Horror Picture Show 2017 and Sherrie in Rock of Ages 2016) and as the lead singer in her 80’s rock cover band, Hannah Belle Lecter.

Hannah is so grateful for the family and skills she has gained from this studio and hopes to instill in her students the same passion for dance and performance that she has.
